How Much Is A Turkey Visa Fee?

Due to its amazing nature, sunshine, friendly people and cuisine, Turkey is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. Getting a visa to travel to Turkey is not difficult at all.

In order to enter Turkey, you will need a valid passport with at least six months validity left on it and be over 18 years old. The country has made exceptions for those under 18 that are accompanied by an adult but they do require written parental consent and proof of their parent’s consent to travel.

Turkey visa fee is a service charge paid by foreigners who wish to enter Turkey for short-term purposes, and it can be obtained in different ways: by getting an e-visa from the official website (e-turkcap.gov.tr), through applying at Turkish diplomatic representations abroad or in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir or Antalya airports on arrival if you are arriving from one of these destinations.

 This is especially the case if your country of origin has an electronic visa agreement with Turkey. With an e-visa agreement, you could apply for a visa online and complete the entire process without travelling or sending hard copy documents to the Turkish embassies or consulates.

 Normal Turkey tourist visa will grand you 90 days and you can, later on, extend this to 180 days if you require.  

If you are looking to apply for a Turkish visa you will need to complete certain steps and procedures. It is essential to complete these correctly in order to avoid getting a rejection which will impact your future applications as well as leaving you in a situation where you will be subject to pay Turkey visa fee twice. There are two ways you may choose to apply for a visa for Turkey. The first option is upon arrival in Turkey. 

You will need to provide all your travel documents and your passport and the visa officers on the border will provide you with a visa and you will be able to pay with cash, debit cards as well as a credit card. 

The second way is applying online but you need to be an electronic passport holder. You also need to have a passport with an expiration date. Please do note that e-visa is only available applicable for travels which are tourism-related. Students and business visas will not be given through the e-visa process. Once your tourism e-visa has been granted, print the document that will be sent to you by email and present it to the customs officers at the Turkish airports.

Turkey Visa Fee- Sticker

If you are applying through a sticker visa for purposes outside tourism such as study, transit, sports, research then you will be subject to different fees.

Single Entry visa – about €55 for all nationals, (about €117 for UAE)

Double Entry visa– about €110 for all nationals, (about €233 for UAE)

Multiple Entry visa – about €180 for all nationals, (about €465 for UAE)
